5 Tips How to Optimizing Chitika


While browsing the internet, I have found that Chitika’s Blog providing 5 tips for optimizing Chitika which gathered from their forum. Here are 5 tips about how to optimizing Chitika:
1.Use 468×180 ad units as your Chitika ads
2.Place the ad units above the fold (top of page that can be seen by visitors without scrolling the page)
3.Get the ads at the heat map and avoid placing the ad units at the place where your visitors can’t see the ads well.
4.Make the Chitika ads well-targeted by using the default category or using the contextual system.
5.If there are any possibilities, place the Related Product Unit (affiliate)
This time, I’m only implements point (1), (4), and (5) at one of my sites for Chitika’s optimizations. And it’s true, my earnings in Chitika increase high, especially when I’m using the Related Product Unit (RPU) from Chitika.

Although the Related Product Unit (RPU) from Chitika is still in Beta version, publishers are able to place the RPU at their site with some requirements from Chitika. The requirement is simple enough and very easy, (a) You must have earnings greater than $100 already in your Chitika account; or (b) Your site must have page impression greater than 50,000 for each month. When approved, you’ll be given your RPU code and will be guided by Chitika’s staff for optimal RPU implementation inside your site.
Back to Laptop (ups, sorry… just kidding…). Let’s back to the tips. Maybe you want to ask me, why I’m ignoring the point (2) and (3) for the implementation? The answer is simple, because my main revenue is focused at Google AdSense. Of course the strategic location inside my site is used for AdSense ad units. Luckily, Chitika has the catchy multi-product inside their ad units, so it will attract your visitors generate any click although it placed at distant location. What are you waiting for?
