Boost Your AdSense Revenues With Traffic from Search Engines

All those sites that are extremely successful with AdSense, they all get lot’s of traffic from the Search Engines. There are millions of courses on this, but I will just talk about it anyway. First of all, if You want a lot of traffic, You’ve got to be no less than on the first page, and, preferably, № 1. No one ever looks on the other pages. And to get to the first page can be easy or can be v/ hard for some. This depends on the saturation of the market and their linking strategy and what they do in the optimization world.

The key here is on page optimization, together with, of course, fresh daily content. You also need to grow links pointing at Your site, because that will boost Your PR. Some are not on the first page with PR 8 while some manage to get there with very little to no page rank at all. It largely depends on what keywords You are trying to optimize for and how many other web sites You have optimizing for the same keyword. A good site to use would be marketleap.com, where You can analyze the links of Your competitors and then reverse-engineer to get those links Yourself.

A good way also would be to do a search in yahoo: “link:www.yoursite.com” - and that will also give You the links for your url or any other url you wish. Yahoo is good for this because it gives You sites in terms of their importance, as it thinks, so no 1 link partner would be the most relevant and with the highest PR, which gives You a good idea of who to target.

There is no secret about being number one, and that is really the game- You search for link partners and achieve more link with higher PR than Your competitors and You will rank higher than them. An excellent way to get high PR links that black hatters have being exploiting as well us “white” web masters is to buy links. This can be extremely effective if You’ve got the cash, but You need to be careful because Google is smarter now a days and if You suddenly have a new site that has almost no link but 10 PR6 and PR7 links suddenly start pointing at it all at ones, this would be suspiciously unnatural and You may get black-listed, which would mean You would not rank for them. Another draw back of buying is that You will loose those links when You stop paying for them and there goes Your PR and position.

An extremely powerful linking strategy is to get links from authority sites – e.g. Government and charity web sites and a bunch of other non-profit organizations, that Google loves. It can be tricky to get those types of links as those organizations have no incentive to link to You, but the rewards are great! This can make a real difference in a competitive industry. So, how do You approach those types of sites? Well, if it’s a charity for example, You can offer a donation. I am sure You will find ways to persuade them, just do what ever it takes, because its so important. Be persistent but at the same time urbane and well-spoken.

Other search engines like MSN, Yahoo!, Ask etc. are considered to be less smart (for now) and all this “stuff” that does not work with Google will work with those second-teer engines. So, Your affords won’t be worked for nothing. They are very much more tolerable to duplicate content as well, since they don’t have such powerful server – Google have thousands if not 10s or 100s of thousands of servers, and creating new ones every day.
