Cheating Google Adsense

Have you try cheating Google AdSense?
You can’t and you shouldn’t do it because Google knew almost everything.
Google will use it for determining and detecting any cheating :

IP Address
If the AdSense click is originated from the same IP Address as the one used for accessing your AdSense account, your account is flagged.

Cookies
Most home users do not use static IP Address for Internet connection. In most cases just disconnect and reconnect will give you a new IP Address. But don’t forget, Google has set cookies on your computer.

Other Google Services
Thinking that you are safe just because you do not access your AdSense account? Think again. This time, consider these: GMail, Google Earth, Google Calendar, Google Search, Google Toolbar, Google Talk, Google Sitemap, Google Desktop, Blogger, and so on, and so on. With the wide range of services they provide, Google can trace the originator of most (or probably almost all) clicks.

Click Pattern 1
Oh, why this computer / IP address / person is so trigger-click-happy on this particular website but never click on the ads on other sites?

Click Pattern 2
And why is it that people accessing these sites direct (type-in URL or from bookmark) tend to be very active ad-clickers compared with those referred from search engine or other sites?

Click Pattern 3
And why the ad-clickers like to hit and run, compared with non ad-clickers that surf a few pages before leaving?

Click-Through-Rate (CTR)
Your CTR may range from 0.5% to 10%, but if it exceeds a certain point (probably around 10%), you are flagged.

Geo-Location
Used Urchin (Google Analytics) before? Then you should know that Google can trace traffics origin down to the small town. Different IP doesn’t mean much. Unless you site is really targetted to one small geo-point, a high number of clicks from nearby location will get you banned quickly.

Hardware address?
MAC address of the LAN card, modem, and router works almost like a fingerprint. I’m not sure if Google can track this, but probably they do. They have rocket scientist, remember?

Advertisers conversion rate
Ad click is one thing. But does it bring value to the advertisers? If none of the clicks on your site translate to conversion to the advertiser, you are in trouble. First the Smart-Pricing hits, then your AdSense account disabled.

Search Engine Ranking
Your website is not indexed on any search engine, not linked by any prominent website, but get consistently high traffic? That sounds like something is in play. Regardless of whether it is an adware-embedded software, spam, trojan clickbot, or intentionally installed click-exchange network, it doesn’t sound right.

Webpage design
How about the “click here” or “support us”? Google has the best search engine in the world. Is it really that hard to find those words?

Combo
Each of these detection methods might seem rather weak. But combine them together, and not many click-fraud can pass-through these filters. Even the smartest clickbot will have a hard time.

Anyway, DO NOT even try for cheating Google AdSense or you’ll getting banned immediately.

    Dear Angellica,

    Good Day

Thanks for such a great content. May I request you to let me know about the theory behind CPC,CPM, cost per 1000 impressions. what all this means.

and how could I decide my budget for Adword as it is not clear that by selecting an option given by google 800, 2000,8000 or min 13.50. where does my add will be shown for eg
if I select for 2000 - 3000 option then will my add be shown at 2nd place or third place.

Do make it clear madam. so that we the team could go ahead for making an ad with adword

    Thanks

According to your 1st question, you can learn about adsense calculation here : http://angellica2017.com/google-adsense-calculation/

and for your last question, your ads would be displayed depends on the keywords you’ve bid and more higher the bids more chance for gaining at the 1st place for a spesific keyword.

I agree with some of what you say, and yes, these methods *could* be used.

However, some of the tracking methods you mention are against privacy laws and Google operates within the law.

I think click behaviour is the major factor. This does not require Google to track individuals.

    hi angellica…
the different methods Google using to track the cheaters is great…but i have a doubt in this. how could Google ban the account even if the ads re not clicked on the same system from which the account is accessed…and it doesn’t give any proper reason for the ban of the certificate

  6. angellica2017 Says:

Do you know the referral methods? Google would detect the website referral that used by your visitors when coming into your site. Also, Google know exactly whether the click is generated for the sake of publisher’s earnings or came naturally from visitors. Their technology is more smarter than we think….

I’m all for Google being really strict against click fraud. If I was paying to advertise with them, wouldn’t want anything but the most legit leads! This page is good for all those adsense newbs that think they can cheat the system… cheaters all get caught eventually. Anyways, great article!

I don’t want to do anything wrong, but I have some questions. We started useing this to pay for the costs of the web site, we are a non-profit ministry. With this site it’s just starting to grow, but we have the search bar and I think that is where I am messing up. Just so you know it’s not our intent to cheat we just want to do it right. So let me tell you what I have done to get a notice from Google that if it still happens they will disable our account. Now 1st thing I found out and I will be changing is they want all links to stay in page. We set the site up so if it’s part of our ministry it stay in the same page but if it is an outside link it will open up in a new window. Not the ads open in the same window only cause we have not firgued out how to make them open up differently without touching their code. But the search engine opens in a new window and each click opens in a new window. This way if your looking for something and you click on something you won’t lose your seach. So sometimes you can click on 5 or more from the same search before finding what you wanted. I need help on how to make this part right so I don’t get into trouble.

The second part is everywhere I go I ask people that when you search for things please do it on the jcgang’s seach. And when I am talking with people at my work which is a bank so all the computers are shared but we all have different accounts. So I have people using the seach here as well. How should I go about changing this so I can get in the right with google without doing anything wrong. Again my intensions are all good and in no way trying to cheat but would like to learn how to be in right standing with google. I know it’s not just this area though cause I do prayer sessions online and always telling people to go to the site for praye requests or seach for anything.

Now the pro to this is I never tell people just to click on the links or anything about that the only thing I have been asking is for people to use my search instead of something else.

Can you please help me do right?
