Google Adsense PIN
Google Adsense PIN (Personal Identification Number) is used for every publisher who joining adsense to be eligible receive their first AdSense payment, They must enter their PIN before the 15th of the month. Google Adsense PIN would be sent to each AdSense publisher through the postal mail when their earnings have reached or greater than $50 on their adsense account. For every publisher who joining Adsense before January 28th, 2005, they do not need to enter an Adsense PIN.
Google Adsense PIN used for verifying publisher postal addresses and give more security and protection for Adsense publishers. If a Google Adsense PIN has been sent, Google will make any hold for all payments until publishers receive the Adsense PIN and entering the PIN to the form inside their adsense account. While the Adsense PIN are in progress, publishers still can access their adsense account and generating more earnings although the Adsense PIN not filled yet in the provided form box. Google Adsense PIN would be generated within 3 - 5 days and mailed via first class mail after the balance of publisher’s earnings in adsense reaches $50.
Google Adsense PIN usually arrive within 2 - 4 weeks after the date it was generated. But sometimes in several area it may take more longer time cause it’s depend on the postal service in your region. If publisher do not receive any PIN yet, they can make any request for a PIN replacement 3 weeks after the previous PIN is generated. To view the date when Adsense PIN was generated, publisher can enter the Please enter your PIN link inside Payment History page. If publisher not receiving their PIN yet or they are lost the Adsense PIN number, Google Adsense give more chance for every publisher to make any request up to two additional PINs.
Google will sent the Adsense PIN to the payment address inside publisher account. Each publisher have 6 months limit for entering the Adsense PIN inside their adsense account, or requesting an Adsense PIN replacement. If publishers not entering the Adsense PIN within this period limit, their adsense account will be disabled and their adsense earnings would be refunded to the appropriate advertisers. It would be a good idea to request a new PIN before it’s too late.
To request a new PIN, you should :
1. Log in to AdSense at https://www.google.com/adsense
2. Click My Account tab
3. Click Payment History page
4. Click the Please enter your PIN link
5. Click Request a new PIN
After that step have been done, Google will send a new PIN to the publisher’s postal addresses.
