How to Apply Google Adsense Program

Applying for a Google AdSense account is quick and easy things to do for everyone. You must get your website ready before you join Google AdSense program. You have to complete your website because Google will not make any approval and will reject your application if your website is still under construction. Once your site is ready, you can point your browser to the following link and click on apply.

You may choose the drop down arrow under account type and select whether you’re an individual account or business account. If you’re not very sure which one to choose from, you may click on the question mark at the left side. Next, you may select your country or territory.

You need to fill in your primary URL under website information. This is where you list your own website. Google AdSense supports Chinese (simplified), Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Swedish, and Turkish. Select your website’s primary language.

Now you should select the AdSense product that you need on your website. AdSense for Content will deliver advertisement targeted to the content on your pages. For instance, if you write about real estate, Google AdSense block will show real estate related ads. AdSense for Search is another opportunity for you to add a Google search box inside your site. With both AdSense for Content and AdSense for Search on your site, I believe they could maximize your Google AdSense earnings.

After that step, fill in your contact information and you’re all set. You should receive an email in 1 or 7 business days from Google AdSense Support Team and informing you if your application is approved.

For US residents, Google AdSense Program is required to collect tax information from those who participate in the program. If you are a business, you will need to fill your EIN number on your application. If you are an individual, all you will need is filling your social security number. Google AdSense will withhold payments to you until they receive your tax information. If you do not have that information when you initially sign up, you can still apply for the Google AdSense program.

You will not need to provide the tax information if you are a Non-US business and have no activity in the United States. While Google does not withhold taxes or provide any tax advice, they will send you a 1099 once your earnings reach a certain amount. You should visit the Google AdSense Support site for more tax information regarding the Google AdSense program. Or you can log onto www.irs.gov for other tax-related questions or concerns.
