How to Copy and Paste Google AdSense Code
When Google approve your application for joining AdSense, then the first things in your mind is how to make AdSense as your additional income and how to earn money from it. In order to displaying AdSense ads at your website you have to get HTML editor, and paste the javascript codes that being generated inside your AdSense account. With HTML Editor such as Dreamweaver, you can choose the placement for your Google AdSense ads with pasting the codes into the suitable place at your website.
There are various products from AdSense (AdSense for Content, AdSense for Search, and AdSense Referral). You need to select the suitable AdSense product that will be your campaign at your website. After selecting the suitable AdSense product that match with your site, you have to generate the AdSense javascript code for your chosen product.
You can generate your AdSense ad codes by visiting the AdSense Setup tab. You should following the wizard guides or single page option to choose your Adsense ads type, size, and colors. In the last page of AdSense Setup, you’ll see your code already generated inside the “Your AdSense Code” box. The javascript code inside the box is the AdSense code that you have to copy, and paste it directly inside your web pages. Copy the javascript codes inside the bottom box and use your HTML editors such as Dreamweaver or FrontPage to paste the AdSense codes to the suitable place inside your site.
If you are a newbie in AdSense, you should paste the AdSense ad code into your HTML source code editor without change any values inside the code. Why you shouldn’t do that? Because publishers who change the codes or altering the codes and its behavior will be banned since it was against AdSense TOS and Program Policies. When implementing the code at your site, make sure you copy and paste the AdSense ad code inside the body tags area. Paste your AdSense code with Source View or Code when using a WYSIWYG editor such as Dreamweaver or FrontPage. If you are pasting the codes at Design View or Layout View, then your ads won’t be displayed and only result displaying the codes.
When all steps for “copy and paste” have been done, you may save your works and then upload your pages to your web server. The AdSense ads will be shown immediately at your site when you preview your site. It can be relevant ads, irrelevant ads or even the PSA (Public Service Advertisement). For a new site, the ads usually displayed as Public Service Ads and not targeted yet. Google AdSense bots needs time to crawl your page’s content before they can determine the suitable ads for your site. Once Google AdSense crawler has visited your page, you should see the highly targeted ads which relevant with your content.
