Traffic for Your AdSense Website
Traffic is King, that’s why I put this one on the top. Generate more traffic inside your site by doing some off-page and on-page optimizations. Try to use legitimate ways for gaining more traffic. Some people using Google Adword and other PPC (Pay-per-click) search engines for generate more traffic to their site. Carefully search for the right niche and keywords in order to make your advertisement in those PPC campaign profitable enough. Link popularity techniques like directories, software or even mass blog submission techniques are some several methods for gaining more traffic inside your site. Just avoid the link farms, because that will affect overall of your page rank. Search engine’s technologies and algorithms are smart enough to find those link farms type. If you are doing such that things, they will give the penalty for your site and reduce the weight of your site. The worst situation is your site can get banned from their listings.
Make Fresh and Unique Contents
Make fresh and unique contents is a part of the above tips. Since traffic is the King, then content is a Queen. I am very sure that you have heard about these terms already at somewhere else out there. Make fresh and unique contents are the best tactics and strategies to create huge websites. With a lot of fresh and unique contents that included at your website, search engine’s robots will crawl and frequently visiting your site and make your contents get listed at their database shortly.
Get the Relevant AdSense Ads.
Relevant AdSense ads inside your site are one of the most important factors for maximizing your CTR and may affect your AdSense earnings. If your visitors can’t find any relevant ads and only see the odd links that have no relation with the contents inside your page, it would resulting your visitors won’t click the ad. Sometimes, if Google Bots can’t find the suitable ads for your page, your AdSense Ads would change into PSA (Public Service Ads) that will give you nothing even visitors are generate any click on that PSA. So it’s very important to get relevant ads inside your page based on the contents and resources at your web page. If there are any irrelevant AdSense ads being displayed at your webpage, then there must be something wrong. You are needs doing more website optimization like improving your title, meta tags, and also implementing section targeting at some area inside your page.
Blending AdSense Ads
Blending AdSense ads inside your page would be very important things you have to do since this method will make the AdSense ads look as a part of your web page. It is a matter of blending or camouflage the ad so they don’t look like ads anyway. An ad should not stand out as an ad. One thing you must remember, you should not confusing visitors about the ads. Visitors do not understand enough about online advertisement and become “blind” to ads as time goes on. Actually your visitors searching for content at internet but not ads. It would be great if you don’t have any high contrast between your ads and your content text.
Remove AdSense Border
One of the best tricks for maximizing AdSense CTR is to erase the borders of AdSense ads. This could be done by using the same color between the border of your ads and your website’s background. The most popular is “Open Air” themes that can be generated instantly inside your AdSense account. Many publisher and webmaster using this theme for maximize their CTR.
AdSense Text is More Profitable
At my research during several years, text ads are better than image ads. Visitors are more responsive to text links rather than image links. AdSense ads with text links are considered by your visitors as another part of your website navigational links and will get more clicks rather than image based ads.
AdSense Ads Placement
Placement of the AdSense ads is another important factor for maximizing CTR in AdSense. The best placement for the ads is depends on each website layout, themes, and templates. My suggestion, place the first ads at the top of your web page because it will make your ads “above the fold” area. The next placement of the ads is at your sidebar since it will looks like your navigational links. The last ads placement would be at middle of your website contents. Even if you have used the highest-paid ads, you won’t earn more unless your visitors click on them. Based on my experience, when you are about using those AdSense ads placements, your visitors will generate click at your ads more frequently.
No Competitive Ads
Wipe other advertisements away from your page, except for Google AdSense ads. This will give more earnings at your revenue and maximize the CTR of your AdSense ads. Why bother using other ads at your page since that would reduce your AdSense CTR? If there are no competitive ads inside your page, then your earning per click in AdSense is higher than before based on the Google’s smart pricing factors.
Use Many Website for Your AdSense
Do not rely on one website. Try to make as many websites that contain different contents as possible. If you have 20 websites with AdSense ads inside your site and every website can generate about $1 everyday, then you will have an average income of $20 everyday. Sounds promising?
Submit to Google Webmaster Tools
Add verification for your website at Google Webmaster Tools for inviting crawler at your site. If possible, also submit your sites with various site maps at Google Webmaster Tools. With verifying Google sitemaps at Google Webmaster Tools, Google bots will crawl your site sooner that any other submission process.
Don’t forget adding robots.txt that will give more optional to the crawlers when access and indexing your website.
